Thursday 10th November 2011, 9:39AM GMT.
West Brom defender Gonzalo Jara Reyes has been dropped from the Chile squad amid allegations that he breached a curfew while on international duty.
The Baggies full-back, who is currently on loan at Brighton, was reportedly among five players who returned to the national squad from a christening having been drinking.
The quintet to be dropped also include Birmingham winger Jean Beausejour as well as Atalanta defender Carlos Carmona, Juventus midfielder Arturo Vidal and Palmeiras’ Jorge Valdivia.
Jara was already doubtful for the two matches because of injury and Beausejour was suspended for the Uruguay game.
