Billy Jones reveals West Brom were warned about Liverpool’s Luis Suarez

West Brom defender Billy Jones today revealed the Baggies’ players were warned about Luis Suarez before he won Liverpool’s controversial penalty on Saturday.
The full-back admitted the Uruguayan’s record of winning spot-kicks formed part of the pre-match team talk at the Hawthorns.
Jones said: “We spoke beforehand of being careful of Suarez in the penalty area, because he has won penalties before for Liverpool.
“He is good at winning penalties and we knew we had to be careful around him – and Jerome Thomas was.
“Suarez has gone down and the linesman has given it. It was one of those things. It was harsh to concede a goal that way.”
