Marek Cech signs for Trabzonspor

AAlbion defender Marek Cech has completed his move to Turkish club Trabzonspor.

The full-back flew to Istanbul for a medical from the Slovakia national team’s training base in Vienna today, after the Baggies agreed to sell him.

Cech has now completed his move, signing a three-year deal, and been handed the No 5 shirt.

The fee is expected to remain undisclosed but it is believed to be less than £1million, with Cech having just a year left on his Hawthorns contract.

The 28-year-old signed from Porto for £1.5million in 2008 but struggled to command a regular first-team spot and admitted recently he was keen to move on.
