Olsson backs keeper Foster
Monday 29th August 2011, 12:25PM BST.
Albion defender Jonas Olsson today backed goalkeeper Ben Foster to bounce back from the last-minute error that handed Stoke victory.
The Baggies vice-captain said summer signing Foster had been “top class” since moving on loan from Birmingham and urged him to move on from his “one mistake”.
Foster’s fumble allowed Stoke’s Ryan Shotton to grab a 90th-minute winner yesterday to leave Albion pointless from their first three matches of the Premier League season.
Olsson said: “It is one mistake. Everyone who has seen him play these three games knows he has been top class for us other than that error. It is one mistake. Ben is big enough to come back.”
