Albion midfielder Graham Dorrans today claimed he's hungrier than ever to become a Premier League hit after recovering from the injuries that wrecked last season.

Dorrans is back in full training after a summer of rehabilitation finally cured the ankle ligament problem that brought last season to a premature halt for the Scotland international. The 2009-10 Player of the Year says he's even more excited about the season ahead because of the personal frustrations of the last campaign, which also included other injury issues and a spell out for personal reasons.

And he's keen to impress boss Roy Hodgson after getting injured just two weeks into his reign. "I think I'm even more keen this year having missed a big chunk of last year," said Dorrans.

"I just can't wait to get going. Hopefully I can do well in pre-season and impress the gaffer because I only got to train for two weeks under him so he hasn't seen an awful lot of me."

Dorrans is now getting his first prolonged chance to work with Hodgson and said:?"Everyone has their own style and Roy is very hands-on. That's great because you learn from him."
