Albion video blogger Pete ‘Hilltop Baggie’ Danckert ponders the next seven days that will see the end of the transfer window and a crunch clash with Wigan.

Do you think Hilltop has got it spot on?

There’s no doubt that the Wigan game is of massive importance, and what I’m praying for is an early Albion goal. The reason is that we have the same players who put in great performances earlier this season, but at present it’s all about confidence. If we don’t get our noses in front early on,the pressure will built and players can get nervous, but if we can get that first goal,I’d agree with ‘Hilltop’,that the Baggies can,and hopefully will, score a couple more. Now where’s that lucky rabbit’s foot (not that it was lucky for him)……..

I would just like to be the first in calling for Craig Birch to be fired from the E+S. Off camera and off microphone, in fact he didnt say it out loud but in his head, anyway he thought Petes scarf looked ridiculous!!

Craig should be sacked for being scarfist, no i dont mean he has a new wrestling name (scar fist grrrrr) i mean he has an intolerable attitude against poorly chosen knit wear.

His sacking would be an example to everyone who even thinks in their own head about dissing my mates winter warming scarf.

As for the blog, i loved it, as for the scarf i believe that if the scarf does a good enough job on these blogs then i am happy to see them become a part of it.

Not a scarf I would wear, but I can categorically state I would not discriminate against anyone because of their choice in knitwear, it’s a free country after all.

Are you trying to fit me up in another Andy Gray-type scenario Jarrod lol?

I feel there’s too much focus on conventional scarves,we obviously discriminate against snoods, which breaches a snood’s yuman rights.I’m considering taking legal advice. There should be a place for snoods EVERYWHERE in modern society, not just on yer neck.

What odds would you get for all relegated teams beginning with “W” and what odds could you get with no teams being relegated beginning with “W”.

Wigan will be a massive game, but if we win we could be on the same points as Blackpool, and they have yet to hit a real bad patch,i’m thinking if we can win our next three home games, maybe that will be enough. Our run in looks pretty daunting, if we could pick up four points from the remainder that would put us on 38 points. It’s going to be a nail biter that’s for sure, we just need another hero from transfer window, Vela? and decent decisions from the officials.

I am beginning to think that more than 40 points will be needed this year Pete.
    I like the scarf.

    5 Desmond-

Our local bookie was giving very good odds on the chance of three ”W”s going down,so I’ve had a few quid on it.I wrote West Ham,Wolves and Wackpool.Hopefully,he won’t notice.

Ha ha too funny CR78, I hope the bookie doesn’t notice and you get your winnings, this outcome will make a lot of people happy.

Jeff, I really believe that 40 points will be enough, didn’t look like it before Christmas, but now I think if 40 is the magic number then I think we are cooked like Christmas dinner.

Isn’t the scarf the real victim here. I’m sure it is likely to be withdrawn from action in the next match by Pete to prevent what could be a media frenzy. He surely can’t wear it for fear of ridicule and must go for a Dr Who scarf or maybe just a roll neck jumper.

I’d like to point out the hypocrisy of Craig Birch. I have it on good authority that he’s been seen wearing scarves in numerous styles in the past. Let those without sin cast the first stone.
