Captain calls for ruthless Albion

Captain Scott Carson today challenged Albion to be more ruthless as they look to make Blackburn pay tomorrow for the frustration of defeat at Bolton.
The Baggies goalkeeper saw his side dominate events at the Reebok Stadium yesterday only to lose 2-0 and is urging them to learn the lessons at The Hawthorns tomorrow.
“We’ve got to be a bit more clinical in both boxes and a bit of luck wouldn’t go amiss either,” said Carson. “The ball just doesn’t seem to be landing for us and it landed for them twice in the six-yard box.
“We’re still pretty confident that we can win a lot of games. The last two games haven’t gone our way results-wise but performance-wise we have been there and it’s just about trying to cut out the little mistakes and being a bit more clinical at both ends.”
