Peter Odemwingie’s return hailed

James Morrison believes the return of striker Peter Odemwingie will be a key factor in getting Albion moving up the league again.

Odemwingie, who has been a huge hit at the Hawthorns, is back in action after recovering from a knee injury and hoping to quickly regain the form which brought him four goals and rave reviews from fans.

And their reaction is shared in the West Brom dressing room too, where Morrison reveals the Nigerian international has proved an inspired signing.

“He’s our top goalscorer, so he’s massive for us,” admits Morrison.

“You only need to look at his performances before he got injured to see what a top-quality player he is – and how hard he works for the team.

“He stretches the opposition defence and gives the midfielders time to play. It’s good to have him back.

“I was surprised how quickly he took to the Premier League. It’s not easy coming from a different league and going straight into the Premier League.

“Fair play to him. It shows what a good player he is. My first impression was ‘he’s bloody quick!’

“He beat me in the sprints. I was second to him. I’d like to see him, Ishmael (Miller) and Giles (Barnes) have a race.”

The problem is Ozase needs other players to be up with him, when he puts the ball in the box. Tchoyi would be the perfect foil, in my opinion.
    Whats think Sir Terry.

    UW,
How did the donkeys do against a little team with their first choice keeper out injured. your BIG club is rocking on the relegation ropes. Never mind you’ve only got little SUNDERLAND next match. The problem is McCarthy is no longer their manager.
    Two winable matches, Nil points.
