Report: Walsall's Tom Bradshaw having medical at Barnsley

Walsall striker Tom Bradshaw looks to be closing in on a move to Barnsley, after reports emerged he has undergone a medical.

Sources in south Yorkshire claim the Welshman is currently at Oakwell finalising his move to the Championship side.

Bradshaw confirmed his intention to leave the Saddlers yesterday when he handed in a written transfer request.

It has been believed the 23-year-old was closing in on a move to Championship outfit Rotherham – with the Millers believed to have tabled a £550,000 bid.

But now it looks like Tykes boss Paul Heckingbottom has moved again for the prolific forward after seeing a £250,000 offer rejected earlier this summer.
