Walsall reporter Joseph Masi discusses the latest coming out of the Saddlers' camp ahead of tomorrow's League One home game against Southend United.

There's added needle to this clash thanks to visiting manager Phil Brown, who has angered the Saddlers with his pre-match comments about their form.

Brown's quip on television last week that Walsall were dropping 'like a stone' did not go down well, with Tuesday's 2-1 victory at Gillingham a response.

In reality, Walsall are third and trying to break into the automatic promotion places while the Shrimpers are outside of the top 10, with 12 points separating the two.
