The Saddlers striker finally picked up a first international cap as Wales fell to a friendly defeat in Ukraine.

Bradshaw, who has scored 18 goals in all competitions this season, faces a nervous wait ahead of the summer call-ups.

He said: "I tried to soak everything in and learn from the players and staff. I did everything I can to put a seed in the mind of Chris Coleman that maybe I can do a job in the summer."

Bradshaw came on as a sub and played 18 minutes.

"It's so exciting, being measured for your suits, the photographs and talking about the plans for the summer," he added. "It's incredible, especially for me personally playing in the slightly lower league, just to be in the squad with likes of Ashley Williams, Joe Allen and all of the boys.

"It's in your mind that you want to do everything you can to be on the plane to France."

The Bradshaw family will have an interest in proceedings this summer whether Tom is selected or not.

"All of my uncles and my dad are going to France regardless, so they'll be there whether I'm in the squad or not," the striker said.
