Dean Smith's side will welcome the Championship winners as Nigel Pearson begins to prepare his squad for the 2014/15 Premier League season.

Leicester enjoyed a successful title-winning campaign as they beat Burnley to the Championship title and sealed their return to the Premier League for the first time in 10 years.

The sides met in a League One encounter in February 2009 at Banks's Stadium when Leicester ran out 4-1 winners.

Walsall's last win over Leicester came in 1978 when the Saddlers won 1-0 in the FA Cup.

Details of admission prices will be announced closer to the fixture.

This is great provided a proper team turns up! Last seasons match with Aston Villa was an insult to them and their supporters. We treated it like a training session and supporters should`nt have to pay to watch the team train. It might be a friendly but we should still play to win!
