Jamie Paterson today urged Walsall to cut out the individual errors after their late blunder cost them – but insisted the whole team must take the blame.
Liam Noble cashed in on Karl Darlow’s poor clearance to snatch a 2-1 win for Carlisle in injury time.
“In the last couple of games it’s been individual errors which have cost us, not just Karl. A few of us have made errors – including myself – and we need to cut them out,” he said, after Darlow fluffed his kick from Dean Holden’s back-pass.
“It’s not Karl’s fault. I thought he (Noble) was about 20 yards offside and I was waiting for the flag to go up.”Subscribe to our Newsletter
