On-loan Walsall midfielder Mark Wilson insists Saddlers will shine
Thursday 17th November 2011, 10:55AM GMT.
Walsall midfielder Mark Wilson today vowed the Saddlers will rescue their season and revealed his surprise at their shocking slump.
The loanee from Doncaster believes the squad can turn their form around if they keep the faith and insisted they are behind manager Dean Smith.
The Saddlers have won just once in their last 14 games in all competitions ahead of Saturday’s clash against League One Bury and Wilson insists the run will end.
He said: “I’ve been surprised, considering the way we played in the second half against Milton Keynes Dons, the point at Huddersfield and at Exeter on Saturday.
“On the plus side of things, we’re very positive with way we’re performing. The key thing for me is we all buy into what the manager wants and we all want to play for him.”
