Will Grigg hails Jamie Paterson impact
Monday 3rd October 2011, 9:30AM BST.
Will Grigg today insisted he is relishing his double act with “livewire” Jamie Paterson after bagging his third goal of the season.
The Saddlers striker nodded in the opener from man of the match Paterson’s cross in Saturday’s 1-1 draw with Carlisle.
And the Northern Ireland under-21 international hailed the 19-year-old’s impact.
He said: “It was a great ball from him and I managed to peel off the back and head it in. I wouldn’t mind a few more.
“I’ve played with him in the youth team and he’s always a livewire. He’s been showing it in training and he was brilliant on Saturday.”
