Walsall set for Scotland in pre-season
Wednesday 25th May 2011, 9:45AM BST.
Walsall are heading for Scotland in July for a five-day pre-season training camp.
The squad will be based in Stirling and will face Greenock Morton in a friendly at Cappielow on July 13.
The Saddlers, who also today confirmed a trip to Port Vale on July 30, will train in Stirling from July 11-15.
Manager Dean Smith said: “It should be a great trip. We’ll train every day and being together as a group will be really beneficial.
“It will allow the lads to bond together as a unit and will give me the opportunity to spend time on the training ground, implementing ideas ahead of the new campaign.
“The game against Morton will also be a good test. It’s a trip we’re all looking forward to.”
