Walsall’s home game is called off
Monday 27th December 2010, 12:33PM GMT.
Walsall’s home game with Dagenham and Redbridge tomorrow has been postponed due to a frozen pitch.
It’s the third successive home match the Saddlers have lost to the big freeze, after clashes with Southampton and Oldham were called off.
It means the club haven’t played at the Banks’s Stadium since November 20, a 2-1 win over Carlisle, and have lost valuable revenue over the Christmas period.
They are due to host Notts County on Saturday and will be desperate to get the game on to start generating funds.
