We are not saying they are true – just that they are out there.

WOLVES

Wolves are close to finalising a deal to bring Monaco winger Ivan Cavaleiro to the club, it can be revealed.

The 22-year-old Portuguese international is set to leave the French club and it's believed Molineux is his next destination.

Cavaleiro cost Monaco around £13m when he joined from Benfica last summer. It's not yet known if the potential deal is for a permanent transfer or a loan.

Southampton midfielder Harrison Reed is a loan target for Championship duo Derby County and Wolves.

Reed is highly regarded at Southampton having come through the club's famed youth academy, and made his debut as a 17-year-old in 2013.

WEST BROM

Sporting CP have reportedly rejected an offer from West Brom for William Carvalho.

Club's president Bruno de Carvalho turned down a €25m bid from West Brom.

WBA have been told that they will need to raise their offer to at least €35m to start negotiations.

ASTON VILLA

Hull City striker Abel Hernandez is keen on a move to Aston Villa before the end of the transfer window.

The Uruguayan international has been targeted by Villa boss Roberto Di Matteo as he continues to search for players capable of guiding his side back to the Premier League.

Villa have already had a £14million bid turned down by the Tigers, but they could continue their interest after another disappointing Championship weekend.

Villa are also in advanced talks with Bristol City striker Jonathan Kodjia over a deal which could rise to £15m.

The 26-year-old has scored 20 goals in 52 games for Bristol City since signing from French club Angers on a three-year deal for about £2m in July 2015.

The Ivory Coast international has also been the subject of interest from Derby County and Premier League side Hull.
