Emile Heskey is set to be offered a new deal at Newcastle Jets as he looks to extend his stay in the Australian A-League. Villa signed Heskey for £3.5 million in 2009 from Wigan Athletic.
He made 92 appearances, scoring nine goals. In 37 appearances at Newcastle Jets, he has the same number of goals, nine.
Albion
Reading FC have joined the race for West Brom's Graham Dorrans. Fellow Championship side Middlesbrough are believed to be interested in the midfielder.
