Albion

West Brom are lining up a loan move for Everton defender John Heitinga. The Dutch centre back had been linked with a move to West Ham earlier in the window but that move fell through.

Sporting and technical director Richard Garlick has insisted the club have offered striker Shane Long two new deals - both of which have been turned down. Albion have accepted a £7 million bid from Hull City for the Irish forward.

West Brom have reportedly made contact with Serie A side Bologna to discuss a loan move for ex-Man City striker Rolando Bianchi.

Wolves

Leicester City striker Martyn Waghorn has emerged as a target for Wolves. Kenny Jackett is keen to bolster his strike-force after completing a £300,00 deal to sign Nouha Dicko from Wigan.

Rotherham United are interested in Coventry striker Leon Clarke. Rotherham recently signed Wes Thomas from Bournemouth who was once a rumoured target for Wolves.

Former Wolves striker Chris Iwelumo has left League Two side Scunthorpe United by mutual consent.

Villa

FC Porto midfielder Steven Defour is waiting to hear from Tottenham Hotspur before deciding on a move to Villa Park. The 25-year-old Belgian has been linked with a move to Paul Lambert's side but would be interested in joining Spurs.

Walsall

Former Walsall midfielder Florent Cuvelier has joined Port Vale on loan until the end of the season. Cuvelier had been linked with a return to Banks's Stadium alongside Febian Brandy.
