Wolverhampton racer Ty Proctor believes he is "moving in the right direction" as he aims to recapture his best form.

Having seen a serious neck injury derail his 2013 campaign, Proctor has experienced a difficult start to the new season.

But the Australian has shown some glimpses of his old self with some encouraging performances – and now looks to continue his upturn in form when the Parrys International Wolves travel to Lakeside tonight (8pm).

Proctor also reckons the side have much more to offer.

"I'm working really hard in all areas to make sure things come good for me, and I believe things are moving in the right direction," he said.

"It hasn't been the start to the season I was hoping for but there have been a lot of positives the last few weeks.

"Now I'm just looking to keep moving forward.

"We've got a difficult meeting at Lakeside – it's always a tough place to go and score points but we've got to go there believing we can get something.

"We just haven't quite had everyone firing at the same time, but I'm sure things will come good soon and when they do I think we'll be really strong.

"We've made a solid start, so we just need to keep pushing."

Lakeside include Scott Nicholls for Mikkel Bech who is on world under-21 duty.

Wolves are unchanged from the midweek defeat at Birmingham.

Lakeside: Peter Karlsson, Richard Lawson, Davey Watt, Lewis Bridger, Scott Nicholls, Ben Morley, Adam Ellis.

Wolves: Tai Woffinden, Jacob Thorssell, Ricky Wells, Ty Proctor, Piotr Pawlicki, Joe Jacobs, Ashley Morris.
