'The FA Cup of Darts' will again be made up of the top 96 in the UK Open Order of Merit, played between the professionals, and 32 regional qualifiers.

Rileys, taking back over from last year's title sponsors Speedy Services, will again generate the qualifiers at their darts halls throughout the country.

The first televised single elimination tournament on the PDC Calendar result is the finals that will now take place in March, live on ITV4, at Butlins in Minehead.

Qualifiers will be held to produce one player from each of the 32 individual knock-outs to go through and compete in front of the cameras, with two held in Wolverhampton.

They will take at Rileys, on Broad Street in the city centre, on Sunday February 2 and Saturday February 22. Derby and London Victoria will also host two qualifiers.

The events, open to all PDPA members and costing £5 to enter, will be held during February at a total of 29 Rileys Sports Bars in England, Scotland and Wales.

Players can have more than once chance at making the UK Open finals. If they lose in a qualifier, they will be allowed to enter subsequent events elsewhere.

Discounted entry of £3 is available online at www.rileys.co.uk/tournaments. It also includes a free drink and half-price entry into the Rileys Masters Series.

Entries, at the full £5, can also be made at the venue. For more information, call 01902 310 521.
