The 23-year-old middleweight is back in action under the management of Ben Frankham while Dad Tony is his new trainer,

writes Craig Birch.

'Danger' travels to the Stoke Rochford Hall in Grantham, Lincolnshire, to take on the home fighter, who has racked up four wins as a pro.

Decastro, who competed with the likes of Chris Eubank Jnr before punching for pay, is looking to get busy with this the first of five dates up to October.

Have-gloves-will-travel combatant Gelder hasn't boxed professionally this year after being stopped in the first round twice last winter, although he cried foul through injury and low blows.

Those defeats to Alex Hughes and Luke Crowcroft respectively have made it five straight defeats, the previous three all over-the-distance.

His luck took a turn for the worst after he was outpointed by Mike Byles, the two points he had deducted for holding costing him a draw.

He had opened with two points wins, over the then-unbeaten Alfie Little after former Midlands champion Kevin McCauley on his paid bow.

Gelder said: "I'm back in the pro game looking to cause upsets again. I'm here to fight and earn some good money.

"I'm back training properly and looking forward to fighting every week again as a road warrior. I fear no one and will take on anyone.

"I like to face the unbeaten prospects, as I have nothing to lose. Decastro won't have anything I haven't seen before.

"It's going to be a hard night, though, as he's a tough come forward fighter, but I'm looking forward to the challenge."
