Breeze had a fruitful amateur career in which he netted a solid amount of trophies and medals in the vest of Walsall Wood Boxing Club.

He's looking to replicate that success under Birmingham fight guru Jon Pegg, saying: "It's all about learning and I'm in the right hands."

The youngster always always sported a style that would see him make a successful transition into into the paid ranks.

With his hands held low, Breeze dictated the pace comfortably behind his solid left jab.

That kept southpaw Griffiths occupied throughout the four-round contest before whipping in his trademark hooks and uppercuts.

It was a controlled performance from Breeze, whose educated pressure and superior engine ensured he was a step ahead the whole way.

Trainer and manager Pegg said: "He won't be out now before May. We'll be looking at perhaps three more shows this year, but it will depend."

Breeze himself felt that he had shown 70 per cent of what he can do, adding: "I'd just like to say a big think you for the continued support from all of my fans that I keep getting.

"I'd like to thank my sponsors R1 bar Aldridge, and Aldridge air Conditioning. On May 9, I'll be looking to put in a performance!"
