Want to see the fight for yourself? Watch Stafford's Rob Hunt outpoint Danny Dontchev over four rounds at Bedworth Town Hall above.

First Halesowen super middleweight Lennox Clarke was forced to postpone his clash with Lincoln's Ryan Clark, writes Dan Mole.

Clarke strained his back 24 hours before his scheduled showdown at Bedworth Civic Hall. The pair will now meet at Hatherley Manor Hotel in Gloucester on Friday October 24.

There was better news for Stafford's Rob Hunt, who cruised to a 40-36 points victory over journeyman Danny Donchev on an entertaining Les Allen card.

Hunt, coming off the back of an impressive stoppage victory over the usually-durable Jason Nesbitt, completely controlled proceedings.

Hunt, unfazed by the Bulgarian Donchev's persistent holding, tried to stick to his game=play but found it hard to settle into a rhythm.

But when he did he caught his experienced rival with sharp combinations of left and right hooks.

In the end, referee Terry O'Connor had the simple task of, rightly, awarding Hunt every round.

After back-to-back wins since turning professional, Jamie 'Danger' Gelder failed to make it a hat-trick. The Dudley middleweight came unstuck against Warwick hit-man Mikey Byles.

Gelder worked well behind his jab but, all to often, he allowed Byles to dictate the pace and pattern of the fight. O'Connor awarded Byles a 58-55 victory.

At the top of the bill, Coventry's Troy 'Terrifying' James clashed with Ronnie 'the Shark' Clark in a British super featherweight title eliminator.

Coventry's James dominated the 10-round contest which, surprisingly, resulted in a split decision verdict James was given the nod.

Elsewhere, Coventry cruiserweight debutant Joe Sheriff overcame Welsh hardman Jamie Ambler by a margin of 40-36.

The Dave Coldwell-signed Jordan Cooke also scored a 40-36 debut victory. The Coventry light welterweight defeated Syria's Youseff Al Hamidi.

Stafford's Grant Cunningham and Telford's Kieron Gray are in action at the Chase Leisure Centre in Cannock on Saturday. For tickets, call 07891 263 167.
