Walsall fans divided on Coventry ground-share
Walsall fans appear divided over whether Coventry City should be allowed to stage home matches at the Banks's Stadium.
It has been reported that talks had taken place between the clubs over a three-year ground share agreement.
But the Saddlers have remained coy on whether any discussions had taken place and rejected claims a deal had already been agreed.
And the prospect of sharing their home with their financially-stricken League One rivals has split opinion among supporters.
Almost 1,000 fans had their say in an exclusive poll on the Express & Star website, with just under 55 per cent saying the club should not agree to a deal.
While any agreement would undoubtedly be of benefit financially, some supporters are concerned at the impact two teams playing at the ground would have on the pitch.
Some fans are also worried about the viability of Coventry's management plans.
More than 11,000 Coventry fans have signed a petition against a move, while the situation at the troubled club appears more complex by the day.
Coventry City Holdings, the company which has been running the Sky Blues since they were placed in administration and has mooted the ground share idea, must still win a bid to purchase the club's assets.
