Florent Cuvelier today urged Walsall to punish Preston and maintained they have already forgotten their Stevenage set-back.
The loss ended a five-game unbeaten run, but Cuvelier insisted a defeat at some stage was inevitable.
“You couldn’t expect us to go unbeaten until the last game of the season,” said the Stoke loanee.
“It’s sad, because when you have a run like that you want to keep it going. But now we have to forget about it and look at tomorrow. If we play how we can, be more focused with second balls, then we’ll be OK.”
