Boss Neil Kitching has promised Stafford Rangers won't be taking their foot off the gas in tomorrow's FA Trophy clash with Lincoln United.

The game provides a break in league action for Rangers, who are enjoying a fine campaign and currently sit top of Evo-Stik Division One South.

But, having been knocked out of the FA Cup early, Kitching is keen on a run in the Trophy and is confident players will not let their focus slip.

He said: "It's a home game and a winnable game for us. Saturday is important, we want to keep our good run going. If we can win well it builds confidence and it is good for the supporters."

Even if he wanted to make changes, Kitching would have limited scope due to the raft of injuries and niggles which has plagued his team in recent weeks.

Alex Melbourne could return from the foot injury which forced him out of last weekend's 0-0 draw with Market Drayton Town but Jake Jones, Christian Dacres and Alex Curtis remain sidelined.

Tividale and Chasetown, both already out of the trophy, meanwhile meet in Evo-Stik League Division One South action at The Beeches.
