The bottom club are hosting play-off-chasing Tranmere Rovers at 3pm, but having picked up four points from their last two games, Colin Gordon's men are riding high on confidence.

"In the main we're a different team when we are at home and when we have our fans behind us, so we'll see how it goes," said Gordon.

Arthur Gnhaoua suffered an ankle injury during Saturday's draw with Woking and will miss the next few matches.

"He's taken a knock on the same ankle and I expect him to be out for some time," said Gordon.

"Elton Ngwatala took time to get into the game after being out and we have some knocks on other players but we've got lads returning from loan who now have an opportunity to show me what they can do."

Hednesford Town are winless in 12 matches, but the National League North side have a chance to gain ground on Worcester City at Keys Park today.

Frank Sinclair's second-bottom team were left frustrated by a 0-0 draw away at bottom club Corby Town on Saturday.

"We knew going into the weekend that both games were ones that we needed three points out of if we are to be realistically in with a chance of securing our place in the league," said Sinclair.

Andy Todd will be missing for the Pitmen while Tom Thorley is expected to be out for the rest of the season. Defender Jack Fitzwater could return from his ankle injury.
