Keith Lowe, Harry White and Arthur Gnahoua were Harriers' marksmen in a precious win which lifted them to within seven points of safety.

It was also the first time second-from-bottom Kidderminster have chalked up three successive league triumphs since December 2014.

They now face the tough task to trying to extend their timely winning run when they travel to table-topping Cheltenham Town tomorrow night.

Mid-table Macclesfield grabbed a last-minute consolation goal from substitute Kristian Dennis.

But it was nowhere near enough to prevent Harriers from gaining revenge for their 2-1 defeat at Moss Rose on October 10.

Aggborough coach Kevin Phillips said: "We were delighted with the start we had and the first half as a whole.

"I wasn't disappointed by the second half by any stretch. It was a more professional performance, but we would have liked to have been more on the front foot."

Buoyant Kidderminster clinched their third win in eight days despite being without influential Elton Ngwatala, who faces a lengthy spell on the sidelines with cartilage trouble.

Tyrone Williams was drafted in to deputise in midfield and produced an eye-catching performance along with hard-working Luke Maxwell and Ousmane Fane.

The Silkmen, who had an effort cleared off the line in the opening minute, fell behind in the tenth when a corner from Ben Whitfield was forced over the line by defender Lowe.

Six minutes later it was 2-0, when poor goalkeeping by Shawn Jalal allowed new on-loan striker White to score for the second match in a row.

Maxwell and Whitfield were involved in the build-up to the goal and then combined again to help set up the opportunity for Gnahoua to make it 3-0.

It was the former Macclesfield campaigner's second goal in successive games.

The Silkmen were so stunned by Harriers' deadly thee-goal blast that they started making changes in the 27th minute, substituting former Aggborough front-runner Reece Styche with Danny Rowe.

The visitors, who had lost their previous three league matches, had far more possession in the second-half. But Harriers' commanding lead was never in any serious danger.

Macclesfield finally got on the scoresheet when Dennis scored with a beautifully struck curling free-kick.

But by then Harriers were comfortably in possession of a priceless win which hoisted them three points above basement club Torquay United.
