Boro hold a 14-point advantage over second-placed Coalville Town, while visitors Newcastle Town are down in 15th.

That considered, Town remain just six points off the final play-off position in fifth.

Kitching said: "If you look at the table it shows that they're not far behind the play-off teams at all. Any side that puts together a two or three-game winning run can challenge.

"The table is just starting to take shape. But about 12 clubs from fifth down can put in a run."

October's 0-0 draw at the Lyme Valley Stadium was the last football played by winger Jake Jones, who picked up a serious ankle injury. Jones is nearing a return to full fitness.

Chasetown, who hold the final play-off spot in fifth, travel to 14th-placed Stocksbridge Park Steels.

Tividale hope to call on new striker Ben Markell for tomorrow's vital clash at Goole. The hosts are 20th and in the final safety spot, 11 points ahead of Tividale.

Unbeaten in 2016, Rushall Olympic are ninth and just six points shy of a play-off spot in the Evo-Stik Premier standings.

Richard Sneekes' men face the tough visit of sixth-placed Barwell, who are themselves gunning for a play-off position.

Halesowen Town, 14th after suffering three defeats on the bounce, welcome the Class of 92's Salford City as they hope to turn around their sliding form.
