Stourbridge now focussed on the league

Boss Gary Hackett insists Stourbridge must now 'concentrate on league duties' following their various cup exploits.

The Glassboys have not played a game in the Evo-Stik Northern Premier League since October 27, due to having five cup games in succession.

They travel to Marine in the league tomorrow, with Hackett saying: "We've just got to concentrate on league duties now.

"Marine have got a good home record, and we had a tough game there last season, so we know it is going to be tough."

Stourbridge are currently 10th, just two points off the play-off places, but Hackett refuses to get carried away at this early stage.

He added: "There's a lot of talk about games in hand but we are just concentrating on one game at a time, and focusing on getting the three points against Marine."

Tom Tonks, Leon Broadhurst and Justin Richards will all undergo late fitness tests ahead of the game.

Also in the top half of the table, Halesowen Town welcome strugglers Ramsbottom United to the Grove.

The Yeltz are currently on a five-game unbeaten run in the league, while the visitors are yet to win on the road this term.

Still, chairman Colin Brookes insists their opponents cannot be underestimated.

He said: "They've got a new manager and beat Rushall 2-1. We must be prepared for an improved Ramsbottom side, we have got to be at our best to get the win."

Defenders Joe Hull (ankle) and Bradley Lewis (hamstring) will miss the game.

Rushall Olympic, who are looking to move out of the bottom half, make the trip to North Wales to face Colwyn Bay.
