Boss Dave Hockaday had hoped to have the 19-year-old available for the fourth qualifying round tie, but the Saddlers have declined to grant permission for him to play.

Murphy is part of the first-team squad at the Banks's Stadium and has impressed during his time so far at Aggborough, scoring on debut in the 2-1 defeat at Macclesfield earlier this month.

A former Stourbridge player, he was also part of the Worcester City team which defeated Coventry City in the first round of last season's FA Cup.

Stourbridge have, meanwhile, been boosted by the news winger Matthew Dodd is fit to play on Saturday.

Dodd sat out Monday's 2-1 defeat to Ilkeston after picking up a knock in Saturday's 1-1 draw at Darlington, but is fully recovered to face the Harriers.

Glassboys boss Gary Hackett has a full squad to choose from with the exception of midfielder Ben Billingham, who is suspended.

Hackett said: "It was one of those scenarios where we might have risked Matt on Monday, had we not had such a big game coming up on Saturday."

Stourbridge fans still without a ticket can purchase one tonight when the few remaining go on sale at the Glassboys Bar, from 7pm.

Kidderminster are set to be backed by more than 400 travelling supporters, after an additional allocation of 105 tickets was snapped up in 20 minutes yesterday morning.
