A first-half brace from Christian Dacres set the Boro on their way, before Ben Haseley and Alex Melbourne secured the points.

It took the Boro just 28 seconds to take the lead after a passing move found Dacres, who rifled his shot in off the post.

They doubled their lead seconds before the break when a bobbling ball in the box fell to Dacres, who shot on the turn into the bottom corner.

Within two minutes of the second-half the Boro went 3-0 ahead after Matthew Wood's long ball found Haseley, who beat the offside trap before coolly slotting past goalkeeper Sam Vince.

However, the visitors probed before pulling a goal back in the 64th minute when Paul Grimes got to the byline before squaring the ball to Andrew Hutchinson to fire home.

But Rangers restored their advantage just three minutes later when Dacres found Alex Melbourne, who fired the ball home.
