Rui Patricio

Showed sharp reflexes to deny Stevens shortly after Jose's goal, tipping the ball over.

Looked assured throughout as he claimed his second straight clean sheet. 7

Romain Saiss

Had a chance to make it two late on but was denied by Ramsdale from point-blank range.

Put in an efficient defensive performance. 7

Conor Coady

United's attackers did not cause many problems for any of Wolves' back three.

Coady, as ever, organised the troops and got his messages across. 7

Willy Boly

Saw a clever back-heel headed off the line by Norwood in the first half.

Also at ease for large parts after missing two matches while self-isolating. 7

Nelson Semedo

Put in a vital block to deny Stevens and set Wolves on the counter-attack for Jose's goal.

Was also keen to drive forward throughout and increase the tempo.

Semedo has had his ups and downs in gold and black thus far. This was certainly a positive performance from the Portuguese. 8

Joao Moutinho

Recycled the ball well enough in the middle of the park.

You would like to see more attack-minded passes from him, though. Not starting off moves like he has done in the past. 6

Leander Dendoncker

Worked hard and was involved in the move for the winner.

Can also do more going forward, though. There is a clear lack of creativity from midfield. 6

Rayan Ait-Nouri

Steady performance from the youngster.

Was keen to get up the flank when he could, but he has been more focused on his defensive duties as of late. Has tightened up, to be fair. 7

Adama Traore

Another important contribution from the Spaniard, firing a lovely ball across the face of goal for Jose to finish.

Bit wasteful on other occasions but is having a real say in games again. Two assists and a goal in his last three appearances. 7

Willian Jose

Finally, the Brazilian's drought is over.

Opened his Wolves account with an instinctive, first-time finish. Made it look easier than it was.

Overall play was not brilliant, but that goal should give him a big confidence boost for the remaining matches. 7

Daniel Podence

Not his night. Still working his way back to full sharpness after a couple of months out.

A bit careless in possession at times and brushed off the ball too easily on a few occasions as well. Can do better. 5

Subs

Vitinha (for Podence, 72)

Played Traore through for a late chance. 6

Fabio Silva (for Jose, 77)

Shot straight at Ramsdale while off balance. 6
