The 44-year-old felt the result was 'disappointing' and Wolves should have taken advantage after Jamie Vardy was sent off on 66 minutes.

He said: "Disappointing the result. We started very well the game. Honestly I think we were totally in control, creating chances, playing good managing totally the game.

"If there is a but, in that moment, we should score, we have chances enough to do it so we have to work on that, one thing we have to improve, totally changes the dynamic of the game.

"In the other box, we don't have luck, the game is like that but second half after Leicester with 10 men we should do more. Quick resume, a lot of things to take on but a lot of work in front of us.

"(We need to be more) ruthless, clinical but at the same time relentless to keep on doing the same things because this is how we work, this is how we train and this is how we want to do so control the game, manage the possession of the ball, create chances and now we must score."

Leicester took the lead on 29 minutes through a Doherty own goal before James Maddison made it 2-0 with a deflected shot on 45 minutes.

In the second half, Vardy was sent off for a crunching tackle on Matt Doherty who was replaced by Morgan Gibbs-White.

Asked for his thoughts on the red card, Nuno said: "It is far from where I am. If the referee sees it happens then he must decide."
