Evie Gallop was at the double for Louis Sowe’s side, who were dominant right from the outset as midfielder Fran Orthodoxou’s long-range strike gave them a first-minute lead.

Keeley Davies doubled the hosts’ lead midway through the half with another effort from outside the area, before Gallop got her first of the afternoon, as her shot crashed in off the crossbar. With one foot in the final at the halfway stage, the hosts were relentless after the break, adding four more goals.

Gallop registered shortly after the interval and then substitute Moriah McIntosh scored her first goal for Albion, having signed as a free agent in January.

There was still time for fellow Baggies replacement Leigh Dugmore to add her name to the scoresheet before Trina Greaves rounded off the scoring with little under 10 minutes remaining.

Sowe’s side will now hope to add their third County Cup triumph to the trophy cabinet, having last won the competition back in 2017.

However, the Baggies face a wait to see who they will play in the final as the semi-final between Wolves and Birmingham & West Midlands was postponed due to bad weather.

Elsewhere, Division One South leaders Stourbridge Ladies have added to their ranks by signing Keran Allen from Welsh Premier Women’s side Llandudno LFC.
