Kinsella was one of the few bright spots of the 2018/19 campaign with the 23-year-old impressing in 39 appearances despite the Saddlers relegation into League Two.

That form saw him named Walsall’s Young Player of the Season.

He was also crowned the club’s Community Champion.

Currently out of contract, Kinsella has been offered a new deal to remain at the Banks’s Stadium.

But his performances last season have drawn attention from club’s higher up the football pyramid with teams in League One believed to be monitoring the Republic of Ireland youth international.

A fans favourite, Kinsella joined the Saddlers aged eight and is still expected to remain at the club.

But with other teams circling, more lucrative offers could soon be on the table.

Should Kinsella depart, Walsall would be entitled to compensation due to the player’s age.

Supporters though will be desperate to see the midfielder stay.

In the Express & Star end of season survey, Walsall fans were asked who was there player of the year?

And Kinsella grabbed 34 per cent of the vote with striker Andy Cook – who got 37 per cent – the only player to finish above him.

With Stuart Sinclair having arrived from Bristol Rovers and George Dobson and Alfie Bates under contract, Walsall look to have strength in depth in central midfield should Kinsella stay.

But boss Darrell Clarke is likely to have to dip into the market if he decides to move on.

Meanwhile, Walsall Ladies are looking for sponsors ahead of the 2019/20 season.

The team is looking for companies interested in sponsoring the kit, tracksuits and training kit.

They are also keen to hear from any photography and physiotherapy students who are keen to work with the team on a voluntary basis next season.
