Walsall's game at Bradford postponed due to waterlogged pitch
Walsall's League One game at Bradford City has been postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.
Referee Carl Boyeson deemed the Valley Parade surface to be unplayable following a morning inspection, after heavy overnight rain and snow in West Yorkshire.
The game will now be resheduled, with a new date announced in due course.
Closer to home, heavy rain has meanwhile seen the West Midlands non-league programme hit hard.
Stourbridge’s home Evo-Stik Premier fixture with Stafford Rangers was an early casualty, while Halesowen Town’s trip to Mickleover Sports was also called off before 10am.
Hednesford Town have scheduled a pitch inspection ahead of their home game with Rushall Olympic for 11am.
