It was the home side who made a bright start to the game as they pushed the visitors back and almost went ahead after just forty six seconds when Kieran Cook set up a shooting opportunity for Alex Moore to strike a sweet first time left foot shot that was pushed over the bar by Melvin Minter in the Kings Langley goal.

The Pics kept up the pressure and on ten minutes Danny Waldron was tripped on the edge of the box, and Mitchell Clarke`s fierce effort was palmed away by Minter and when the cross came back in the `keeper` was there again to cut out Waldron`s cross.

The visitors finally replied but Mitchell Weiss saw his deflected effort gathered by Jonathan Flatt but the home side replied when Jonathan Letford was fouled on the edge of the box and Cook`s free kick was deflected out for a corner.

As the home side kept up the pressure they almost went ahead in the twenty fourth minute when Waldron and Moore combined for the latter to fire a first time shot inches over the bar and moments a later a cross from Isiah Blazey flashed across the six yard box with no one on hand to touch it home.

The visitors were beginning to weather the storm a little and they went close when a good break from Weiss saw his set up a chance for William Hoskins whose first time volley only just cleared the bar.

Three minutes before the interval the Pics came close to breaking the deadlock again but Asa Charlton`s powerful header hit the cross bar before bouncing to safety.

Seven minutes into the second half came the only goal of the game and what a goal it was. Great work from Weiss saw his pass find GARY CONNOLLY who smashed home a superb twenty five yard shot past Flatt into the roof of the net.

Rushall put the pressure on Kings Langley but the visitors defended superbly and kept chances down to a premium but in time added on substitute Chekaine Steel`s cross was headed home wide by Moore and the visitors went away with all three points
