The first half soon set the tone of one-way traffic as the Yeltz mounted wave after wave of attacks to force a string of corners. Montel Gibson curled just wide in the 6th minute and his 10th minute shot was turned away for a corner. A deflected 13th minute shot from Rob Evans shaved the outside of the post for another corner and two more Yeltz corners followed in quick succession. Sam Johnson finally featured for Kempston with a 25 yard drive in the 17th minute.

Kempston goalkeeper Connor Coulson kept the scores level with a good double save from Gibson and Simeon Cobourne after 22 minutes and an Andy Parsons header was cleared off the line from Robbie Bunn's 24th minute corner.

The Walnut Boys finally cracked as the Yeltz took a 25th minute lead when goal poacher Cobourne touched a scuffed Andy Parsons shot beyond Coulson.

Cobourne soon added his second goal in the 33rd minute when he robbed central defender Stefan Bailey and skilfully slotted home past Coulson. Further home corners followed before the break with Parsons nodding wide and McKauley Manning shooting at Coulson from 20 yards out.

The Yeltz added two more goals after the interval to complete their easy win. At the start of the second half Robbie Bunn fired a 20 yard free-kick into the defensive wall and his cross was then touched over the bar by Coulson seconds later for yet another corner. Gibson then lashed wide after 49 minutes.

Visiting goalkeeper Coulson remained in fine form and he clawed a header away under his bar after Parsons met Paul McCone's 57th minute cross. Parsons was then on hand to nod clear at the other end from Cameron Hyde's 61st minute free-kick.

Cobourne was denied his hat-trick by another fine Coulson save after being put clear in the 62nd minute and Coulson made another excellent save from Robbie Bunn a minute later. Bowen drove wide after 65 minutes as the hungry Yeltz searched for more goals.

Robbie Bunn eventually made it a deserved 3-0 in the 72nd minute when his deflected shot from outside the area wrong-footed goalkeeper Coulson. McCONE then added a fourth goal to complete the Walnuts' whipping with a great free header after he was picked out by Robbie Bunn's 76th minute cross.
