Blues land Guirane N’Daw on loan
Wednesday 24th August 2011, 11:10AM BST.
Birmingham have completed the loan signing of Guirane N’Daw from French side Saint-Etienne.
The Senegal international becomes the club’s ninth signing of the summer and joins on loan until January, with an option to extend the deal until the end of the season.
N’Daw will not be eligible for tomorrow’s Europa League play-off second leg against Nacional at St Andrew’s but will be in contention for Sunday’s Championship trip to Watford, providing he receives international clearance.
The 27-year-old began his career in France with Sochaux in 2002, before moving to Nantes six years later and then on to St Etienne.
The midfielder also spent the final five months of last season on loan to Spanish top flight side Real Zaragoza.
