Aston Villa have officially launched their home and away kits for next season today at their two club shops.[gallery]

Both jerseys were leaked on Twitter two days ago and overall the response then was positive.

The white away kit with a blue panel and claret stripe across the chest, which paid homage to a popular shirt from the late 90s, drew particular praise from supporters.

They are the first Villa kits produced by Under Armour, who have signed a five-year deal with the club, and they come with the new badge, which no longer includes the word 'prepared'.

"We are delighted to have signed a long term deal with such an innovative brand as Under Armour," said Villa chief executive Keith Wyness. "As a club, we share similar ambitions as Under Armour and will, therefore, be able to pull together to get us back to the top tier of English football, where we belong."

The players will wear the kit for the first time on Sunday, August 7, for Villa's game at Sheffield Wednesday on the opening day in the Championship.

They are now available to buy in the club shops and on Villa's website.
