Aston Villa boss Paul Lambert is preparing to go head to head with a clutch of Premier League clubs for Chelsea winger Victor Moses.moreLambert looks set to step up his interest in the Blues wide man this week, while also trying to put together a £4million package for Swansea's Ki Sung-Yueng.

Moses will be loaned out for another season despite his poor form at Liverpool and Lambert is keen to offer him a fresh start.

However, the Nigeria international is also a target for Everton, Newcastle United, West Ham United while Albion have asked to be kept in touch with developments.

After little game-time at Anfield last season, Chelsea are eager for the 23-year-old to find the 'right' club and will have the final say.

Meanwhile, Villa chairman Randy Lerner has told Lambert there are funds to sign the South Korea international despite his intention to sell the club.

Ki has one year remaining on his contract and Villa will have to pay at least £4m to sign him.

But after already bagging Joe Cole, Phillipe Senderos and Kieran Richardson, Lambert believes Ki could be a key signing.
