Villa boss Paul Lambert today hailed Leandro Bacuna's goal-den touch and believes there is more to come from the flying Dutchman.

The manager is pleased with the impact the versatile ace has made in his debut Premier League season.

Bacuna has netted five times this season, with his goals helping Villa win four games, and has ousted regular right-back Matt Lowton from the side.

He was the top-scoring right-back in Europe before Seamus Coleman scored his sixth of the season in Everton's 2-1 win over Cardiff on Saturday.

And Lambert insisted his £800,000 summer signing from Groningen has been one of his best bargains.

"It's his first time in the league and he's been a big bonus for us," said Lambert. "He's got five goals from right-back, he's done great.

"If you look at his goal against Norwich, him and Andi Weimann virtually start parallel with each other near the 18-yard box.

"Gabby Agbonlahor ends up passing it to Andi who slips Leo in. It was a great goal and the fitness levels were great.

"To chip in with the amount of goals he has done has been brilliant. I've not worked with Leo for that long but he's definitely got that kind of energy in him, as he's proved."
