Aston Villa's Gabby Agbonlahor calm on Brazil

Gabby Agbonlahor admits he has become the forgotten man of Roy Hodgson's World Cup search.

The 27-year-old Villa striker is one of the few regular Premier League forwards Hodgson could call on for this summer's campaign.

But the Holte favourite continues to be overlooked even though Hodgson is short of back-up to the likes of Wayne Rooney and Daniel Sturridge.

"If it's meant to be, it'll be," is Agbonlahor's relaxed response. "I'm not the person who'll say I deserve or don't deserve to be called up.

"If the manager chooses me, then great. If he doesn't, he doesn't.

"I'd love to play in a World Cup but you can't moan."
