Villa's Marc Albrighton today admitted he is determined to prove boss Paul Lambert wrong as he begins a month’s loan with Championship outfit Wigan.
The popular 23-year-old wide man has taken temporary leave of his ‘home’ club in an effort to reignite his first-team career.
And he admitted: “It’s really nice to come to a club and be wanted. Hopefully over the next month I can pick up some good form, confidence and do well.”
“I can’t wait to get going and hopefully prove a point while I am here to Aston Villa and to myself in all honesty. It’s an important stage in my career.”
