Libor Kozak today admitted he is still in the dark over his Villa role but insisted it would be a dream to make his Premier league bow.
The big striker is in line for a debut in Saturday’s visit of Newcastle after his £7m deadline day switch from Lazio.
Villa boosted their firepower with Nicklas Helenius and Kozak this summer but with Christian Benteke leading the line Kozak is unsure how he will be used.
“I have already spoken with Paul Lambert, but only time will tell what my role will be,” he said.
“I will be sure to give my all whenever I am given an opportunity as playing in the Premier League is a dream of mine.
“But I have to say that I miss Rome.”
