Dawkins joined Villa on loan from Tottenham until the end of the season having impressed during a temporary spell with MLS outfit San Jose Earthquakes, where he scored 14 goals in 53 appearances.

C’mon Bradley! We all know that the main difference between MLS and Europe is that when the centre forward plays the ball back to the centre half, he picks it up and hurls it 50 metres towards the on-rushing centre forward who, on gathering the ball, proceeds to sprint through the de-fence before slamming the ball into the turf behind the goal line!
