Gabby Agbonlahor has one eye on Dwight Yorke's Villa goal record but revealed he will not put himself under any pressure to overhaul it this season.

Agbonlahor's career total now stands at 62 goals, of which 54 have been league goals – a figure which leaves him just six short of Yorke, the club's leading goalscorer in the Premier League.

And the 25-year-old Brummie forward, who has found the net six times in all competitions this season, admitted the milestone is in his sights as the claret and blues prepare to host struggling Bolton at Villa Park next week.

"Dwight was a great striker and it would be a tremendous achievement to beat that," said Agbonlahor.

"It would mean a lot to me to catch his record and overtake him. It would be nice to break the record this season but I don't make targets for myself.

"Being a local lad it's great when I score. But if someone scores more than me that's not a problem because it is good for the team.

"I'm always conscious of doing as much as I can for the team. I'm happy to get back and help out defenders whenever it's needed."

While Agbonlahor is keen to find the net regularly from now until the end of the campaign Villa Carlos Cuellar would be happy with just one goal in the last 10 matches fixtures having gone close recently.

The Spanish defender has scored just two league goals in his Villa career, the last of which came in a 5-1 win over next Tuesday's opponents Bolton in November 2009.

"I've had opportunities and I feel a goal is coming," said Cuellar.

"It would be nice to score before the end of the season. But the main thing for is to help the team finish as high as possible."
